Spadoom at SAP Connect Day for KMU 2026 in Bern

A Cinema Full of Swiss SMEs

On 27 August 2026, SAP invited Swiss SMEs to the SAP Connect Day for KMU at blue Cinema Cinedome in Muri bei Bern. A cinema is a good venue for this format: one big screen, no side rooms, everyone in the same conversation. Spadoom was there as a partner, and for a few minutes the screen was ours.

The partner pitch put our message in front of the whole room: we do SAP CX, we do it for SMEs, and we keep it pragmatic. A CRM project does not need to feel like a moon landing. With SAP Sales Cloud V2 and Service Cloud V2 the technology is ready; what decides success is scope discipline and clean data. That was our pitch, and it landed well with an audience that has neither time nor budget for two-year programmes.

The part we enjoyed most was not our own slot. In the customer talk, Thomas Senn from OPO Oeschger joined the panel and spoke about their CRM journey with refreshing honesty: what worked, what took longer than planned, and what a mid-sized Swiss company actually gains from a modern sales platform. The proof is in the pudding, and a customer telling the story beats any partner slide.

Around the panel, the programme covered a lot of ground: Sunnie Groeneveld opened with AI for SMEs, SAP gave a strategy update, Prof. Sami Sokkar added an academic view, and gymnast Giulia Steingruber closed with a talk on mindset and change. And then, as it should be in Switzerland, an apéro.
