SAP Gold Partner Switzerland: What to Check Before You Sign

Searching for an “SAP Gold Partner Switzerland” is a reasonable way to build a shortlist. It is not the final selection test. The badge tells you something about the company’s SAP partnership. Your project still needs the right people, relevant experience and clear responsibility.

Spadoom is an SAP Gold Partner for its SAP practice. We think buyers should ask us the same difficult questions they ask everyone else.

TL;DR: Use the Gold badge to build the shortlist, then decide on evidence: a reference on your product and edition, named consultants, a clear line between what the partner delivered itself and what it subcontracted, and a named owner for problems that cross CRM, integration and ERP.

What does Gold Partner mean?

Gold is a level in SAP’s partner programme. SAP’s partner documentation lists four levels (Basic, Silver, Gold and Platinum), reached through value points for cloud business, deployed projects and competencies. It is not an individual consultant’s certification or a guarantee for every SAP product.

Use SAP’s partner search to investigate a provider’s profile and relevant services. Then separate three questions: the company’s status, its solution-specific capability and the actual team assigned to your scope. We explain the levels in more detail in what an SAP Gold Partner is.

Ask for evidence at the right level

Question Evidence worth requesting
Can you deliver this scope? A reference with the same product edition and comparable process
Who will do the work? Named consultants, roles and availability
What did you personally deliver? Clear distinction between company work, subcontracting and prior team experience
How will we control the project? Accessible backlog, budget reporting and acceptance criteria
Who responds after go-live? Named operating responsibilities and an escalation process

A generic ERP reference is not automatically evidence for S/4HANA Public Cloud. A CX integration is not a complete ERP implementation. Ask the partner to show the boundary rather than filling it in yourself.

Make the assessment earn its place

Before a large commitment, agree what an assessment must produce: a process map, data issues, integration scope, assumptions, exclusions and the next decision. A fixed price is useful only when its deliverables are clear.

Bring one difficult example. It could be a failed order handoff, a configuration exception or a service visit that cannot be billed. Ask who would investigate it and how they would prove that it is resolved. That conversation says more than another slide of logos.

Check the working relationship

Meet the people proposed for delivery. Ask which tasks stay with them, when other specialists join and how staffing changes are agreed. Clarify who owns a defect that crosses CRM, integration and ERP boundaries.

Also ask how SAP incidents are handled: who opens the case, prepares reproducible evidence and keeps you informed? A partner relationship should support the escalation process. It does not remove SAP’s support conditions or guarantee an immediate fix.

Apply the same standard to Spadoom

Our portfolio connects Cloud ERP with Sales Cloud V2 and customer processes. Review our customer stories, certifications and delivery approach. Ask for the people and references relevant to your scope. The full evaluation is in how to choose an SAP CX partner, and the ERP and CRM question in one SAP partner for Cloud ERP and CRM in Switzerland. If S/4HANA Public Cloud is on your roadmap, our S/4HANA readiness assessment tests the evidence at a fixed price before the larger commitment.

Choose a partner you can hold accountable for the work, not just one whose badge matches the search query. Tell us what you need to deliver, and we can start with the evidence that matters.
